Deciding to start a blog is not the same as joining facebook.

Now that I've made that clear, I can say "Welcome to my blog!" My main motivation for doing this is to ease my guilt when I fail at keeping in touch with friends and family who are not physically present in my daily life. My thoughts, activities, and projects will be on display for your reading pleasure, and I will be able to sleep better at night not thinking of all the people I have neglected to call or communicate with. Everybody wins! That being said, I have no other thoughts, activities, or projects to write about today :) Peace out yo.

  1. I've never been the first ladybug at the picnic before! And even better, I'm the first ladybug and the very first blogpost picnic. Wahoo! I feel extremely cool that I get the "Go Nova!" reference...but I must say that I fail to understand the significance of the letter O.

  4. NO WAY! Yahoooooo!! I am so excited to read your blog, Laura!! :) I just found you from Mandy who found you on Cheryl's blog and clicked on it not knowing it wasn't a new blog friend, but her very own sister (who is mine too).

Although, it isn't the exactly the same as joining Faceboook ... it is similar.

  5. Whoa Cheryl. Apparently you're the blog pimp. Since my attempt to email invite people to my blog didn't work, I'll just rely on you to send 'em my way. :)

I disagree Paul, this blog is all about ME. Not who wrote on who's wall, or who has been tagged in who's album. I won't get sucked into reading up on that girl I kinda knew in third grade, or feeling obligated to accept that co-worker as a friend just cause we occasionally say hi in passing. Networking schmetworking.
